How quickly are improvements shown?

A pupil’s results depend on ability, motivation and previous teaching. Research has shown that on average a pupil’s grades increase by one grade after only 12 weeks of private tuition.

Where?

The tuition will take place in my home as I believe this is the best setting for a child to stay on task and get the full benefit of the lesson. Children can so easily be distracted by siblings talking and laughing or from hearing the sound of the TV.

I am aware that many children have both homework and extracurricular activities after school and understand that some of the younger children find it hard to manage tuition homework as well. The older children, who have extra tuition to get them into the secondary school of their choice, will be expected to work hard and complete any work given to them.
